Teuscan vs Arvist

This is the closest comparison of the three, and the one where the easy differentiators do not apply. Arvist also runs without new hardware, and also goes live quickly. The real difference is what it looks at.

What Arvist actually sells

Arvist is a warehouse quality-control and compliance platform. It uses computer vision to inspect shipments, detect damage such as crushed boxes and torn wrapping, verify labels, catch short and over shipments, and document warehouse events. It began in safety analytics and expanded into quality control and compliance, and it closed a $4M seed round in late 2025.

On hardware its position is explicit: you can use existing security cameras, Zebra tablets or other warehouse hardware you already own, and where additional cameras are needed it supplies lightweight kits it says install in a few hours. It advertises integration with over 80 WMS and ERP platforms, and states that most customers are live within one day per QC station.

Pricing is not published, and there is no self-serve trial — evaluation runs through a demo, a sales conversation, or an on-site AI fit assessment.

Where Arvist is stronger

  • The QC-station model catches things a photograph cannot. A continuous camera feed sees the whole handling event, not the one moment somebody chose to photograph, and it does not depend on a person remembering.
  • Over 80 out-of-the-box WMS and ERP integrations is substantially more than we have, and it means comparing visual input against order data — short shipments, wrong items, label errors — which Teuscan does not attempt.
  • It covers quality and compliance well beyond damage: labelling, expiry, counts, safety. If you want one platform for warehouse QC, that breadth is the point.
  • Its stated one-day-per-station go-live is genuinely fast, and we should not pretend otherwise.

Where Teuscan is different

  • Arvist analyses camera feeds at stations inside a facility. Teuscan analyses photographs, which means it works on freight nobody at your company ever stood in front of — photos from a carrier, a third-party warehouse, a driver's phone. This is the substantive difference, and for a broker it is the entire difference.
  • Deployment is per photo stream, not per QC station. There is no per-station rollout, because there are no stations.
  • You can test it on your own freight, right now, without contacting anyone. Arvist requires a sales conversation to see it work.

Which one you should buy

Choose Arvist if…

Choose Arvist if your freight is handled in buildings you control, you want one platform covering labels, counts, compliance and safety as well as damage, and deep WMS integration matters more to you than being able to try it before you talk to anyone.

Choose Teuscan if…

Choose Teuscan if the photos you need read were taken somewhere you do not operate, or if you want to find out whether any of this works on your freight before you book a call.

Questions this raises

Arvist says it needs no new hardware too. So what is the actual difference?

The input. Arvist reads cameras — ones you already own, but cameras, positioned in your facility. Teuscan reads photographs, which can come from anywhere. If all your freight is handled in your own buildings, that difference may not matter much to you and Arvist has more surrounding capability. If your freight is photographed by carriers or partner sites, a camera in your building cannot see it and this is not a close call.

Which is faster to get running?

Both are fast and it is not worth arguing over. Arvist publishes one day per QC station. We connect to where photos already are and run the same day. The meaningful difference is that you can see our output before any of that, and theirs after a sales process.

Should we use both?

Plausibly, and I would not talk you out of it. Continuous camera coverage inside your building and photo analysis on inbound freight from elsewhere are complementary, not competing.
