Teuscan vs iFactory
iFactory puts edge AI on the cameras a warehouse already has, aimed at high-volume distribution operations. Teuscan is a photo-analysis subscription with no infrastructure at all. These target different sizes of operation.
What iFactory actually sells
iFactory sells AI vision for logistics and warehouse automation, working with existing camera infrastructure rather than proprietary cameras — it supports any ONVIF or RTSP-compatible camera already installed, and describes itself as an intelligent overlay above existing hardware requiring software and edge-processing upgrades rather than camera replacement.
That edge processing is real hardware: inference runs on NVIDIA GPU hardware deployed on-premise, which it says gives sub-50ms latency and zero cloud dependency. Its capability list covers outbound verification against the order record, pallet and load-stability inspection, packaging defect detection, label misalignment, seal failures, fill-level deviation, barcode errors and surface contamination. It also offers autonomous drone inspection.
It describes a data-driven ROI baseline assessment taking two to four weeks, and states that most logistics facilities with three or more active dock doors achieve full platform ROI within 60 to 120 days. Its stated focus is high-volume distribution facilities, including those handling thousands of shipments per shift. Pricing is not published.
Where iFactory is stronger
- On-premise GPU inference with sub-50ms latency and no cloud dependency is a real engineering answer to a real requirement. If your security posture forbids sending images off-site, that is decisive and we cannot match it.
- Verifying an outbound shipment against the order record catches wrong items and quantity errors — a class of problem Teuscan does not address at all.
- Continuous inspection at dock speed on every unit is more coverage than photographs of selected moments can provide.
- For very high volume operations, per-image pricing eventually stops being the cheaper model. Theirs may well work out better at that scale.
Where Teuscan is different
- No infrastructure of any kind. iFactory reuses your cameras but adds on-premise GPU hardware; Teuscan adds nothing to your building.
- It works at operations far below their stated target. Small and mid-size US warehouses are who this is built for, and a two-to-four week ROI assessment is longer than our entire pilot.
- It reads freight photographed anywhere, including by carriers and partner sites, which a camera-and-edge-box architecture cannot reach.
- Published pricing and a demo that needs no contact.

Which one you should buy
Choose iFactory if…
Choose iFactory if you run high-volume distribution, you need inference on-premise for security or latency reasons, and you want outbound order verification alongside damage. Their architecture is built for that and ours is not.
Choose Teuscan if…
Choose Teuscan if you are below the scale their platform assumes, if your freight is photographed at sites you do not operate, or if you want an answer today rather than after a multi-week assessment.
Questions this raises
We need everything on-premise. Can Teuscan do that?
No. Analysis happens in the cloud, so photos do leave your network. If that is disqualifying, iFactory's on-premise edge architecture is the right answer and you should talk to them. On-premise deployment was deliberately dropped from our pricing because it contradicts the whole shape of this product.
Is per-image pricing going to be expensive at our volume?
Past a certain volume, probably, and that crossover is worth doing the arithmetic on rather than guessing. The included volume and per-image rate are on the pricing page. If the numbers do not work for your throughput, tell me and I will say so plainly.
